The Role:
We’re seeking an experienced Lead to drive the integration of our HEAT product with our customers’ solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical, and some customer facing experience in delivering impactful software integration solutions for customers.
You’ll be responsible for delivering cutting edge solutions that matter in the area of training & simulation, data and AI by ensuring the successful integration of our HEAT product with our customer simulators.
Your Responsibilities:
● Lead the technical integration efforts between our company’s data analytics product, HEAT, and our customers’ simulator products, including conducting information requirements workshops and identifying data to be captured for future data science research.
● Act as the primary point of contact for customers during the integration process, understanding their IT architecture and requirements.
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth integration and successful customer outcomes.
● Build strong relationships with customers to ensure satisfaction and successful integration outcomes.
● Design and develop APIs to facilitate seamless communication between HEAT and customers’ simulator products.
● Create comprehensive technical documentation for integration processes, including API specifications, deployment guides, and troubleshooting procedures.
● Provide training and support to internal teams and customers on integration-related topics.
● Proactively identify opportunities for product & process improvement.
● Track progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure on-time and within-budget delivery.
● Coordinate User Acceptance Testing with the Customer prior to go-live.
● Oversee technical support to customers following go-live.
Qualifications:
● Bachelor/Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
● Proven experience in technical integration projects, preferably in a SaaS or software development environment.
● Strong customer facing experience of similar integration project delivery
● Proficiency in some of the related technologies such as REACT, C++, and Azure cloud
services.
● Experience of game or simulation engines such as Unreal, Unity, VBS etc.
● Strong understanding of API design principles and RESTful architecture.
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage
with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
● Ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
● Experience in the defence, simulation or gaming industry is a bonus.
● Project management certification, particularly in agile / scrum is also a bonus.
